The Gazelles Summoned Team for the FIBA Women’s Afrobasket Finals.

FUBA in the morning released a list of 18 players that will represent Uganda Women’s Basketball team in next month’s competition that will take place in Kigali on the 28th of July.

The final squad includes; Evelyn Nakiyingi, Flavia Oketcho, Shakira Nanvubya, Lydia Babirye, Brenda Ekone, Sheilah Lamunu, Rita Imanishimwe, Leticia Awor, Jamila Nansikombi, Priscilla Abby, Janon Otto, Hope Akello, Jane Asinde, Mellisa Akullo, Bridget Aber, Sarah Ageno, Claire Lamunu and Maria Najjuma.

The Gazelles were drawn in Group C, they will play against Mali and Senegal towards the end of July 2023.
