Bartercard Surrey Storm Bring Back She Cranes Captain Peace Proscovia

England Netball Superleague side Bartercard Surrey Storm have announced the re-signing of Uganda Netball team captain Proscovia Peace for the 2023 Superleague campaign.

The 32-year old returns to Storm after making a huge entrance back into the VNSL last season for the first time since 2017.

Last season, Proscovia netted 853 goals shooting 94% to dominate the 2022 Superleague while featuring for Loughborough Lightning.

Peace Proscovia on rejoining Surrey Storm:
“I am humbled for another year with storm. It is an opportunity I always treasure.

I am looking forward to playing with my amazing teammates in front of the beautiful crowd we have here at Surrey Sports Park.”

Surrey Storm Head Coach Mikki Austin:
“Resigning Proscovia Peace to represent Surrey Storm into 2023 was one of, if not, the most critical pieces to our puzzle.

Peace Proscovia recently led the She Cranes at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. She managed to propel the team to their highest finish thus far taking 5^th place after a valiant win over South Africa.
