Bul FC,Gaddafi FC face off in a Jinja Derby as Ondurapaka seeks revenge at SC Villa in Arua.
2 min readThe Startimes Uganda Premier League resumes today afternoon with a Jinja Derby as BUL FC visit rivals Gaddafi FC at Gaddafi Arena in Jinja.
BUL FC go into this game looking to build on their 2-0 home win against URA FC in their previous fixture and maximum points will take them upto the 3rd place, a point ahead of URA after 25 games.
Gaddafi FC come into this game aiming to end their six games winless streak with their last win stretching way back in February against Mbarara City.
Alex Isabirye’s men will be recorded eleven wins, eight draws and fives losses from 24 games and they’ll be determined to end their seven away games winless streak.
The Soldiers boys are currently 9th on the table with 28 points in 24 league games leaving them at four points off relegation.
Both teams will be aiming for the three points today after a 1-1 stalemate in their reverse fixture of their first meeting where Alex Kitata got one for the soldier boys and a second half equalizer from Richard Ayiko for BUL FC.
However, The Eastern giants are winless in their last seven away league games with five draws and two losses and they’ll be looking forward to bounce back against the Soldier boys.
“We are playing against a team fighting relegation but we are now used to playing such sides because we have previously played against Busoga United, Mbarara City and Bright Stars, but this time, it’s a derby and that makes it a tough game.”- BUL FC Head Coach Alex Isabirye during the pre match interview.

In another Startimes Uganda Premier League game today, Ondurapaka want to revenge against SC Villa when play the Jogoos this afternoon at Green light Stadium in Arua.
The Jogoos are currently 12th at 25 points, only one point above relegation after 24 games while Ondurapaka sit in the 10th place with 27 points.
Ondurapaka have decent record after three consecutive wins at Mbarara City, Wakiso Giants and Police FC respectively while SC Villa want to bounce back to winning ways after a loss at rivals Express FC in their previous game.
