CAF Awards return to Morocco in November
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the return of CAF Awards slated for 11 December 2023 in Morocco.
According to CAF, the awards are aimed at recognising the standout performers from club and country over the past year, with the highlight being the crowning of the CAF African Player of the Year in both the men’s and women’s categories.

Senegal and Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane and Nigerian and Barcelona top striker Asisat Oshoala won last year’s men’s and women’s awards respectively at Rabat, Morocco.
Nigeria’s Oshoala has been the dominant figure in the Women’s category having won it in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2022.

There will also be honors in the Interclub Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, National Team of the Year, Coach of the Year, Club of the Year and Goal of the Year.
