Monday – Cameroon and Niger fixture will bring the African Nations Championship group-stage campaigns to an end on Tuesday when they face off at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium.

Both teams have an opportunity of progressing to the quarterfinals which will make this fixture a must to watch affair.
Match Preview
Cameroon kickstarted their CHAN tournament off to the perfect start thanks to a narrow 1-0 victory over Congo on Monday evening.
Jerome Ngom Mbekeli broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute after long spells of trying in vain as Congo put up a brilliant defensive display.
Alioum Saidou’s are top of Group E on 3 points, two points behind second placed Niger. The Indomitable Lions only need to avoid defeat to secure safe passage into the knockout phase.
Niger Republic played out a goalless draw with Congo in their opening match of the tournament in Group E on Friday.
The Dama Gazelle are currently on a run of six consecutive matches without a victory since beating Togo 3-1 in their final qualifier for the ongoing CHAN.
More worryingly, Harouna Doula’s have failed to find the back of the net in five of the aforementioned six games which is an area that needs urgent attention.

The winner between Cameroon and Niger will progress to the quarterfinals and face either Mauritania or Mali.
