Chelsea demolish Juventus
1 min readThomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are flying and nothing seems to be stopping them. After Trevor Chalobah making history as the first ever Chelsea player to score on his debut in both the premier league and champions league , the blues never seemed to be letting their lead slip by.
With Thiago Silva leading the back five and the impressive duo of Ben chilwell and Reece James causing havoc in both flanks due to their ball carrying and attacking capabilities. It was only a matter of time before they doubled their lead .
A completely impressive performance was made better as James and Calum Hudson added to the tally just after break to remove all hopes of a comeback as Chelsea continue their impressive streak with a hungry young team that wants and keeps getting better.
Despite gaining some momentum later on, Chelsea controlled Juve’s threats with Chiesa being isolated and neutralized. However the revenge fixture came with its downsides as key Chelsea players in the form of Ngolo Kante and Chilwell getting injuries . However Timo Werner managed to get a vital goal in the closing stages of the game to make it four.
Final result
Chelsea 4 : 0 Juventus
