FIFA President congratulates Vipers SC

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has congratulated Vipers SC upon winning the 2022-23 StarTimes Uganda Premier League title.

Infantino who visited Uganda in February 2017 applauded the team’s hard work, passion and dedication in achieving the feet.

“It is with great pleasure that I congratulate Vipers SC for having been crowned 2022-23 champions of Uganda!”, he stated, “This title could not have been achieved without the entire team’s hard work, passion and dedication, and everyone at the club can be very proud. Please extend my congratulations to everybody involved in this great achievement.”

The Swiss-Italian football administrator also heaped praise on FUFA President and the federation for developing football in the country.

“On behalf of the entire football community, I also take this opportunity to thank you [Moses Magogo] and your Federation for your contribution to the development and prosperity of football in Uganda and in Africa.” he concluded.

Vipers SC concluded a domestic double after winning the 2022/23 StarTimes Uganda Premier League and the 2022/23 Stanbic Uganda Cup.
