HSBC 7s Challenger series 2024: Uganda Men’s 7s drawn in Pool C for the opening round of the series.

After finishing 3rd at the Africa men’s 7s in Harare Zimbabwe ,the Uganda Men’s 7s qualified for the the 2024 sevens Challenger series.

The Uganda Men’s 7s have been drawn in pool C with Germany, Kenya and Mexico.

Pools for the opening round of the World Rugby HSBC Sevens Challenger 2024 have been drawn ahead of the event at The Sevens Stadium in Dubai on 12-14 January.

2024 7s Challenger series will commence from January till May and features combined men’s and women’s events .

After Dubai UAE series , the 7 challager series will head to Montevideo, Uruguay before standalone events in Germany and Poland for men and women respectively.

World Rugby Sevens Challenger 2024 dates:

Dubai, UAE – 12-14 January (men and women)
Montevideo, Uruguay – 8-10 March (men and women)
Krakow, Poland – 18-19 May (women)
Munich, Germany –18-19 May (men)

Men’s pools:

Pool A: Uruguay, Hong Kong China, Papua New Guinea, Georgia
Pool B: Japan, Tonga, Chile, Portugal
Pool C: Kenya, Germany, Uganda, Mexico

Women’s pools:

Pool A: Belgium, Thailand, Papua New Guinea, Uganda
Pool B: China, Czechia, Mexico, Kenya
Pool C: Poland, Hong Kong China, Paraguay, Argentina
