KCCA ran riot at relegated Kitara Fc 6-2 at the Masindi Municipal Stadium to give the Masindi side their 20th loss of the season.
Teenager Samuel Ssenyonjo was the man to watch as the 18-year old striker bagged four goals. First time debutant Andrew kawooya and substitute Charles Lukwago scored the other goals.
In the 6th minute, KCCA opened the scoring through Ssenyonjo from Juma Balinya’s cross.
Kitara FC found their way back into the game in the 27th minute through Vicent Kasoki. Shortly after Nathan Oloro gave the hosts an unexpected lead with his 10th goal of the season at the stroke of half time.
However, Kawooya, who was making his first appearance for KCCA levelled matters with a lob over the Kitara goalkeeper Emmanuel Opio in the 54th minute.
Ssenyonjo restored the kasasiro boy’s lead in the 58th minute. Lwanga made it 4-2 for the Lugogo based side from the penalty spot following a handball in the box.
Ssenyonjo completed his hat trick in 65th minute before scoring again to seal the win with KCCA’s sixth of the game.
The young striker is now the second player to reach double figures for KCCA with 10 goals, behind Lwanga with 11.
KCCA remain fourth with 48 points and will face Wakiso Giants this Wednesday at Lugogo, meanwhile Kitara will visit the tax collectors URA at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje.
