KCCA FC extend Revita’s contract despite miserable injury record
KCCA FC have extended the contract of John Revita by a year until 2024, despite the defender undergoing a knee surgery from a torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) of his right knee last season.
“John Revita has extended his contract by one year until the end of the 2023–24 season, with an option for an additional year after the current contract expires at the end of the 2023–24 season,” KCCA FC statement read.
Revita joined KCCA FC in 2019 and has been at the club for four years.
The center-half who underwent successful surgery is expected to miss half of the season.
“Center half John Revita has undergone successful knee surgery following an injury that tore the Anterior Cruciate Ligament of his right knee last season.
“The player is responding well to treatment and is expected to bounce back in a couple of months upon his complete recovery.
“Everyone at KCCA FC wishes John Revita a proper recovery and a smooth return to play.
