Yei Joint Stars produced a stunning performance as they scored six goals to condemn Garde Republicain FC to a humiliating defeat at Azam Complex in Dar es Salam, Tanzania.

Mariam Lasuba put the hosts ahead in the 11th minute after an error by the visitors defense. Luka Alworonga doubled the lead eight minutes later, before adding her second and third within 56 minutes.

Mariam Lasuba added her second and fifth goal for Yei Joint Stars FC after 63 minutes. Luka Alworonga warapped it up with her fourth goal of the evening and a sixth for Yei Joint Stars FC.

The defeat is Garde Republic FC’s second loss in the tournament after a 6-0 walloping by Simba Queens FC in the teams first game.

The game saw the first red card of the tournament after Sumaya Malili of Yei Joint Stars was been sent off 5 minutes to full-time.
