“Someone wanted to organise the matches paying over 150 millions and the clubs almost got tempted to take it but the federation insisted that these were test matches where we were trying out so many things and couldn’t afford any errors,” Magogo revealed. “The good thing the clubs eventually got a lot more than that, they know how they will share that and FUFA will not partake.

On the day of the Namboole Test Games, Bul FC secured a narrow 1-0 victory against Vipers, while KCCA FC triumphed with a convincing 2-0 win over SC Villa.
