Mauritanian Mohamed Salem completes Vipers SC move

StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have continued to bolster their squad with new additions with the latest being Mauritanian international, Mohamed Salem Ekbad.

The 25-year-old former FC Nouadhibou, Mauritania League 1 side, has penned down a 2-year contract with the venoms.

Mohamed has become the seventh signings made by the Kitende based outfit. Others include recent acquisition Mbowa Paul Patrick, Grant Matsiko, Brazilian Luis Otavio Santos De Araujo, former Arua Hill SC left-back Richard Matovu, Bagoole David and Brazilian forward Giancarlo Rodriguez.

Meanwhile, the draw for the first preliminary round of the Total Energies CAF Champions League have been conducted. Vipers will travel to Botswana to face Jwaneng Galaxy FC in the first leg.
