Muhammed Shaban scores a hat trick against Police FC.

The caterpillars banged four goals against Police FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League match today, 8th April 2022 at the MTN Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo.


Before kick off, both teams observed a moment of silence in Honour of the fallen Speaker of Parliament of Uganda Rt Hon Jacob Oulanyah and the 4 Police FC players that perished in a road accident on 2nd April 1976.

It only took 22 minutes for the Onduparaka sharp shooter, Muhammad Shaban to put the ball at the back of the net giving the caterpillars the lead.

In the second half of the game, the Cops started on the high note and at just 6 minutes past the hour mark, Juma Balinya converted a penalty kick making it 1-1.

Three minutes later, Muhammad Shaban had to reclaim the win for the caterpillars making it 1-2 and then later in the 83rd minute he scored another superb goal writing a hat trick on his name. In the 90th minute Emmanuel Okech scored a goal sealing a win for the visitors. 

Action in the startimes Uganda premier league continues tomorrow, 9th April 2022 as SC Villa host Express FC at FUFA technical center, Njeru.
