Vipers SC clinch 2022/23 league title

Vipers SC have won the 2022/23 StarTimes Uganda Premier League title after a comfortable 4-0 win over Busoga United.

Lawal, Yunus Sentamu, Martin Kiiza and Bright Anukani were on target for the venoms as they clinched their second title in two seasons.

SC Villa’s 1-0 loss to URA FC at Wankulukuku dainted their chances of winning the league as they finished third.

KCCA FC defeated Soltilo Bright Stars FC 5-0 but it wasn’t enough to surpass Vipers who have a superior goal difference.

Meanwhile, there were big wins for relegated Onduparaka FC and Blacks Power FC.
