Vipers SC Unveil Serbian Coach ahead of the 2024/25 season
2 min readVipers has unveiled Serbian Nikola Kavazovic as their coach for the next two years. The 48-year old Serbian tactician will become the second Serbian manager in the Uganda Premier League currently, joining his compatriot Dusan Stojanovic who won the 2023/24 league title with SC Villa.
He will be replacing Livingstone Mbabazi who left the head coach role in April this year.
He holds a UEFA “A” license and is pursuing a UEFA “PRO” license in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
His past managerial teams in the last 10 years;

An immediate task for the Serbian will be to overturn the previous bad season for the venoms who didn’t win any silverware and get back the team to their winning norm.
In his first interview, Kavazović on his playing style said “I want to bring something new. I want to use the players I have with my spice. It’s going to be something totally different. Only God knows whether it will work. But I can tell you it has to be my way.”
The new coach is yet to name his technical bench ahead of the new season as it’s still hazy the players that are staying at the Kitende-based club.
