Wakiso Giants FC complete a double against Tooro United in Fort Portal.

Wakiso Giants recovered from back to back defeats with a narrow 1-0 victory over Tooro United at Buhinga Stadium, Fort Portal, on Sunday.

It only took 10 minutes for Frank Ssebuufu to put the ball in the back of the net. 

He scored the game’s only goal that made visitors completed a StarTimes Uganda Premier League double over the Tooro.

Yesterday’s win pushes the Purple Sharks to 36 points in seventh position, three ahead of sixth and fifth placed Arua Hill and Express respectively.

Tooro United are enduring a relegation-bound season and remain bottom of the 16-team table with 10 points with a handful of games left.
