Most of the tournament action will take place at Qatar\u2019s Aspire Zone complex in Al Rayyan, where matches will be played at the modern sporting facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The competition will reach its climax at Khalifa International Stadium, which will host the final on 13 December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 48 participating teams have been divided into 12 groups of four following the official draw held at the Home of FIFA on 21 May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group stage will be particularly competitive, with the top two teams from every group moving into the knockout phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From that point onward, every match will carry knockout consequences as the teams battle through the Round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals before the final in Doha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tournament features representatives from all six FIFA confederations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The AFC will be represented by Australia, China PR, Korea Republic, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam, alongside host nation Qatar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Africa’s CAF contingent includes Algeria, Cameroon, C\u00f4te d’Ivoire, Egypt, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Senegal, Tanzania and Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From Concacaf, Costa Rica, Cuba, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama and the USA have secured places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
South America’s CONMEBOL line-up includes Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay and Venezuela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The OFC representatives are Fiji, New Caledonia and New Zealand, while Europe sends a strong group featuring Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Montenegro, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Serbia and Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FIFA U-17 World Cup has long been regarded as one of football’s most important youth competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nigeria are the most successful team in the tournament’s history, having won the title five times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brazil have lifted the trophy four times, while Ghana and Mexico have each won it twice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
France, Switzerland, England, Germany, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, the Soviet Union and other nations have also claimed the title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The most recent champions are Portugal, who won the 2025 edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
