The Total Energies Women’s AFCON 2022 groups were drawn yesterday in Morocco and Uganda were drawn in Group A with the host Morocco, Senegal and Burkina Faso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uganda last took part in the fourth edition of the Africa Women’s Championship held in South Africa in 2000 and didn’t go past the group stages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Group B, we have Cameroon, Zambia, Tunisia and Togo. It will be Togo’s first time to take part in the tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The defending Champions Nigeria, were drawn to group C and they will play against South Africa, Burundi and Botswana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The debuts this year, we have Burundi, Togo, Burkina Faso and Botswana. The Tournament will kick off in July 2022 running for one month in Morocco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
