2 North African Football giants won their 1st<\/sup> Semi-Final games convincingly and are a game away from the Finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al Ahly won 4-0 against Algerian side ES Setif, Taher Mohamed of Al Ahly had an early goal disallowed for being in an offside position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Percy Tau opened the scoring on the half hour mark putting the host in front. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ES Setif had a player sent off in the 35th minute, the hosts then dominated the second half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Percy Tau showed real quality by setting up a wonderful goal and netting 2 goals in the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wydad won 3-1 away in Luanda against Petro Atletico. The Moroccan side got the lead through an own goal scored in the 16th<\/sup> minute by Brazilian forward Tiago Azulao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The away side doubled the lead on the stroke of half time by a spectacular long range shot from midfielder Yahya Jabrane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DRC\u2019s striker Mbenza Guy scored the 3rd<\/sup> goal for Wydad in the 68th<\/sup> minute, killing all hopes of a comeback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Petro Atletico had a consolation goal in the 81st<\/sup> minute from a misjudged free kick by the Wydad Goalkeeper letting the ball bounce into the back of the net.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wydad will host Petro Atletico on the 13th<\/sup> of May while ES Setif will host Al Ahly a day after to determine who plays in the ultimate stage of the CAF Champions League.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
