TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) Qualifiers, Algeria 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uganda Cranes are set to face between Somalia and Tanzania in the second round of TotalEnergies Africa Nations Championship Qualifiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The draws for the qualifiers were conducted on Thursday 26 May, 2022 in Cairo, Egypt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is responsible for organizing the tournament that features players from the respective national leagues. The tournament takes place after every two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uganda was eliminated in the first round and therefore have to wait for the winner between Somalia and Tanzania at the next round. The nation’s will face off two months from now (July).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winning team will then play Uganda Cranes the following month (August) with the winner on aggregate qualifying to the final tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
