Tanzania 12-0 Zanzibar <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Sudan 0-4 Ethiopia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tanzania registered the biggest win in the CECAFA Senior Women’s Championship currently ongoing at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru. The Twiga Stars beat Zanzibar Queens 12-0 in the last Group B fixture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opa Clement gave Tanzania an early lead in the 1st minute before Janeth Pangamwene added the second 20 minutes later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tanzania stretched their lead two minutes after through Diana Lucas Msewa. The goals kept on raining as Enekia Kasonga Lunyamila added their fourth in the 29th minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opa Clement added her second and Tanzania’s fifth goal of the day after half an hour mark to bring goal-action at half time to a close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tanzania resumed their goal hunt immediately after the break. Omari Mwanahamisi made it half a dozen of goals in the 47th minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tanzanians remained hungry adding their seventh through Protasia Mbunda. The Twiga Stars made it double figures. Omary Mwanahamisi scored her second goal after one hour mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Danger lady Omary Mwanahamisi couldn’t wait to scored her third of the day. She ensured she joined Opa Clement to claim the match ball after securing her hattrick in the 81st minute for Tanzania’s 11th goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result means Tanzania lead Group B on goal difference ahead of Ethiopia who finish second. Meanwhile both teams advance to the semi-finals of the championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tanzania’s Opa Clement who scored four goals today against Zanzibar leads the top scorers chart with 5 goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
