Ugandan Netball Player Mary Cholhok Nuba has been voted as Netballer of the year 2021 at the 2022 Uganda Sports Personality Awards held this evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary, who also plays for\u00a0Loughborough Lightning\u00a0in the British\u00a0Netball SuperLeague\u00a0and for the Uganda Netball team as the\u00a0GS scored 633 goals in 15 games for the England Loughborough Lightening who defeated Manchester Thunder in the Netball SuperLeague finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She Cranes captain Peace Proscovia, who features for Surrey Storm, was the leading scorer with 853 goals. The seasoned will join her teammates soon despite having challenges with her passport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lanky GS has joined the She Cranes camp in Kamwokya ahead of the upcoming Commonwealth Games, which will take place in Birmingham, England, late next month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
