Rugby Union Postpones Nile Special 7s<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uganda Rugby Union has postponed the Nile Special 7s, a 7-leg event that was scheduled to run across the country starting 9 July 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Union, the reason for the postponement is the busy schedule ahead with their immediate focus being the 15s-international. The Elgon Cup is also in the mix later this month and the 7s team will also be having an international engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We (thus) unfortunately have to postpone the Nile Special 7s. The postponement does affect the Regional 7s series which feed into the National 7s and were already ongoing too,” the statement read. “The Nile Special 7s series will commence on the 6th August, 2022 and the new schedule for the rest of the season will be shared by the end of the week.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
