StarTimes UPL fixtures will be out before the end of next week<\/strong> – Kabaikaramu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday<\/strong> – StarTimes Uganda Premier League<\/a> manager Paul Kabaikaramu has revealed that the StarTimes Uganda Premier League fixtures ‘will be out’ before the end of next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initially, the final fixtures were scheduled to be released last Monday (August 22), as per an earlier communication by the secretariat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Kabaikaramu, the delays in releasing the fixtures has been caused by the failure of some clubs to fulfill the requirements. Some clubs like Kyetume<\/a> had been initially relegated to the FUFA Regional League. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the federation revoked the decision and the club were given upto Monday (August 23) to sort out their requirement issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that the secretariat is ready to release the fixtures, with Kyetume’s case being the only reason for the delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nevertheless, Kabaikaramu maintained that the League will start on September 30 as earlier communicated, and ruled out any possibility of postponement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FUFA has also cancelled out the Pilsner Super Eight Competition for the second consecutive season, while the All Star match is scheduled to be played on September 1.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
