Saturday<\/strong> – West Nile Province fought back from a goal down to draw with defending champions Acholi Province 1-1 and 2-1 on aggregate in an enthralling and dramatic FUFA Drum semi-final second leg at Pece Stadium, Gulu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acholi led 1-0 on Saturday afternoon and 1-1 on aggregate when Norman Ogik scored after 13 minutes, but West Nile’s Amaku Fred equalised four minutes later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

West Nile will play either Lango Province or Tooro Province in the finals of this year’s edition of the FUFA Drum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday\u2019s victory was another superb rearguard action by West Nile Province who came from behind to stay on course to win this year’s FUFA Drum for the first time since 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
