KCCA FC 1-1 UPDF FC<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arua Hill SC 0-0 URA FC<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KCCA FC got nearly everything it wanted against UPDF FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Sunday except for the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kasasiro Boys were playing their first ever Uganda Premier League match under floodlights at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KCCA kept the soldiers in check for most of the game, but a defensive lapse in extra time meant Morley Byekwaso\u2019s team had to settle for a 1-1 draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hosts were in control during most of the match at the MTN Omondi Stadium and had a couple of chances to burry the game with Allan Okello, Kankonde all coming close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simon Kankonde broke the deadlock in the 58th minute. The lanky forward headed in Muhammad Shaban’s beautiful ball and lightened up the spirit in the stadium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kankonde made it two with an overhead kick but the goal was ruled out after the referee spotted a foul on UPDF\u2019s goal keeper in the build up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
