Uganda’s team for the 2023 Kwibuka Women’s T20 Tournament named<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uganda Cricket Association have named a team of 14 Victoria Pearls for the upcoming Kwibuka Women’s T20 Tournament. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0Kwibuka T20 Tournament\u00a0is a women’s\u00a0Twenty20\u00a0cricket\u00a0tournament played annually in\u00a0Rwanda\u00a0since 2014. The tournament was originally named the Kwibuka Cricket for Peace tournament, and is played in remembrance of the victims of\u00a0the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uganda won the inaugural edition of the competition 4-1 and was played as a five-match bilateral contest between\u00a0Rwanda\u00a0and\u00a0Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
