Uganda Martyrs clinch 2022\/23 FUFA Women\u2019s Cup<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uganda Martyrs Lubaga Women Football Club are the winners of the fourth edition of the FUFA Women\u2019s Cup. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They overcame She Maroons in the final played at Bishop Maraka College Playground in Kumi district on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rubaga Girls skipper Catherine Nagadya scored the only goal of the game in the 78th minute as the Kiddawalime Girls won their first ever FUFA Women’s Cup in 17 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uganda Martyrs are the fourth team to ever win the FUFA Women\u2019s Cup after Olila High School (2017), UCU Lady Cardinals (2018) and Makerere University WFC (2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FUFA Women’s Cup was not played between 2020, 2021 and 2022 due to the outbreak of COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
