KCCA vs Vipers SC: Match Preview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

KCCA FC host Vipers SC on game day 22 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League at MTN-Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kasasiro boys will be hoping to close the gap on the second placed Vipers who are 9 points clear of the Lugogo based side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 13 times league Champions KCCA FC lost 0-1 to Vipers in the final game of the first round played at St Mary\u2019s Stadium, Kitende.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In their previous matches, Vipers secured a comfortable 4-0 win away in Tororo against struggling Myda Fc. Unfortunately for KCCA, they lost at home to a determined Solito Bright Stars’ side by 2-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good news for KCCA is that assistant captain Julius Poloto and Ashraf Mugume return to the team after missing four and six matches respectively. Joseph Kafumbe has also resumed training after completing his form six papers.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fillbert Obenchan, Andrew Kawooya, Charles Lwanga and Brian Aheebwa are not in the match day squad as the latter battle various injuries, meanwhile teenager Dominic Ayella is ruled out due to school commitments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile the Kitende based side has a full squad with no major injury concerns as they look to close the gap on table leaders URA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the last 22 games between the sides, Vipers has won 10, drawn 6 and lost 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However overall, out of the 15 meetings between the two teams hosted by KCCA, the Venoms have registered 5 wins, 3 draws and 7 losses scoring 14 goals as well as conceding 17 in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last meeting at Lugogo ended 1-0 in favour of KCCA courtesy of Muzamir Mutyaba\u2019s strike in a tightly contested match when Mike Mutebi was still the head coach at the Lugogo based side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
