Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC claimed the  2023\/24 FUFA Women Super League title over immediate rivals and defending champions Kampala Queens FC on the final day of the season at the Valley. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A joy to watch Agnes Nabukenya found the back of the net with a precisely taken free kick in the 67th minute to give the valley worrier an important lead to sending the mammoth crowd into a frenzy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later,\u00a0 Substitute Allen Nassaazi extended Kawempe’s lead by heading the ball past Queens goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro, Securing a 2-0 victory at the Kawempe Muslim Playground on Sunday as the hosts clinched their fifth league title. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the fifth League title for Kawempe Muslim in history, but their first since the name changed to FUFA Women Super League in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kampala Queens will turn heads to the 5th edition of the Fufa Women’s Cup as they take on Rivals She Corporates on Saturday, 1st June. Kawempe will look forward to a season double as they take on Byafayo Queens at the Quarter Finals stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kawempe will then represent Uganda at the CECAFA Zonal CAF women champions League next season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
