The 2024 CHAN tournament will be hosted jointly by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania from February 1st to 28th, 2025. This development was confirmed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Monday, September 16, 2024, following an executive committee meeting in Nairobi, Kenya. The tournament accommodates only players featuring in the domestic leagues of the respective African countries and will feature 19 nations.
