BSAFCON: Sand cranes win their first game<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uganda sand cranes earned a deserved 4-3 win over arch rivals Tanzania in the group A match day 2 of the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaruph Rajab Juma (2), Stephanie Wallis Napunalo scored for Tanzania, while Ssimbwa Swaleh, Waswa Emmanuel Alex and Kawawulo Isa (2) made the difference for Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Uganda sand cranes were scheduled to play DR Congo on Wednesday, 26 May. However the Congolese withdrew from the tournament for unclear reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sand cranes are currently second with three points behind Senegal who top group A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
