FUFA Drum – Busoga ease past defending champions West Nile Province
Busoga Province came from behind to thump defending Province West Nile 4-1 victory at the St. Joseph’s Vocational Centre – Kamuli.

The visitors took an early lead in the first minute through forward Muhammad Shaban, who headed home left-back Rashid Okocha’s well executed header.
The home side responded through Jeromy Kirya in the 12th minute later. The Vipers midfielder capitalized on a loose ball inside the box.
Busoga ran riot in the second half, scoring three goals past the visitors who fell short of their previous performances in the 2022 edition of the FUFA Drum. Isaac Wagoina started the damage after going past the West Nile defence to slot home for their second of the evening.

In the 50th minute, Laban Tibita added the third from a beautiful Daniel Shabena pass, before substitute Ibrahim Mugulusi scored from a distance to seal Busoga’s well deserved victory.
Busoga Province have climbed to the top of Group C with four points. Bugisu Province are second position with one point, while West Nile Province occupy the last position.
