Arua Hill SC chief executive Pius Bamwange resigns from role
Pius Bamwange has resigned as Arua Hill SC chief executive as struggles at the club continues.
Pius announced his exit on Thursday after just over seven months in the job, with club PRO Lematia Adams rumored to be appointed as acting CEO.

Bamwenge confirmed his decision via his Facebook and Twitter handles.
“After a critical analysis, I have decided to resign from my position as the Chief Executive Officer of Arua Hill Sports Club.
“I pray that the almighty God guides you through all these challenges and I hope all will be well in my absence. Thank you for the opportunity.”
Amid the off-field turmoil surrounding the club, FUFA this week announced that Arua Hill and Busoga United were to play in the Big league next season after failing to meet licensing requirements as per regulations.

The club has seven days to appeal FUFA’s decision to stand a chance to be reinstated into the Uganda Premier league next season.
Arua Hill who completed the 2022/23 Uganda Premier league campaign in 4th position are reported to have lost their place in this season’s Pilsner Super 8 competition and will be replaced by Soltilo Bright Stars.
