CONFIRMED: Dates and Venue for 50th Stanbic Uganda Cup Final Set, as Royals take on the Diehards.
1 min readThe Diehards Nec FC booked the finals slot after beating 2021/2022 winners Bul FC 3-1 on aggregate in a two legged tie while Kitara (Royals) took the other slot after thrashing regional side Pajule Lions 4-1 on aggregate.
It’s now official that the final of the 50th edition of the Uganda Cup will be played at the Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku, on Saturday, May 25th.
This was confirmed by the Fufa through its competitions department in a statement released by the director Ms Aisha Nalule.
Kitara Fc will play Nec Fc in their first meeting in this cap tie as they both look forward to this historical final. Kick off time will be 3:00 pm.
Both being last years promoted teams, a win for one of the teams will be an icing on the cake following their great performances in the league this season.
Vipers SC are the defending champions of the Uganda cup as they edged Police FC in the final last year at Akii-Bua Stadium in Lira City.
