Egypt Beat Hosts Côte d’Ivoire to Claim Bronze

Egypt claimed the bronze medal at the expense of hosts Côte d’Ivoire, defeating them 60–52 in the third-place game.

The Ivorians, backed by home support, fought hard but struggled to find enough offensive consistency against an organised Egyptian side. Egypt maintained its composure through the decisive moments, pulling away late to secure the eight-point victory.

For Côte d’Ivoire, it was a disappointing end to their campaign on home soil, while Egypt leave with a well earned bronze medal after a strong performance in the classification game.
