FUFA Big League – NEC FC Suffer First Defeat of the Season

Friday – NEC FC have lost their first game of the 2022/23 FUFA Big League season after a 2-0 loss to Kitara at Kigaaya Playground, Masindi.

Goals from Edson Agondeze and David Kasaija we’re enough to condemn the Kampala side. NEC FC have dropped to the third position on 10 points, three and one behind leaders Kitara FC and Mbarara City respectively.

Meanwhile, Mbarara City thumped Kataka FC 3-1 at Kakyeka Stadium on an evening characterised by heavy downpour.

Henry Kitegenyi (2) and Seiri Arugamaho (1) were the match winners for the Ankole Lions. Latif Ssenkubuge scored the consolation for the travelling side.
