Ghanian forward found alive following earthquake in Turkey
Tuesday – Former Chelsea FC and Newcastle United winger Christian Atsu has been found alive and is recovering in hospital after being pulled from the rubble following two devastating earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria.
Close to 4,000 people have been pronounced dead and thousands more injured after the catastrophic earthquake that hit the two countries overnight.
A search and rescue operation was launched for the winger and other club staff, and it has been reported extensively that it was successful.
Ansu was successfully transported to the hospital after suffering injuries to his right foot and suffering breathing difficulties.
