Lugazi FC recorded their 7th draw of the season as they held Mbarara City to a 1-1 stalemate at Lugazi Stadium, continuing their impressive unbeaten run.
The visitors took the lead in the 58th minute through Latif Ssenkubuge, but Lugazi FC refused to back down. Ali Arshavin Bayo leveled the match in the 85th minute, earning a crucial point for the hosts.
This hard-fought draw leaves Lugazi FC in 12th place with 13 points, just above Mbarara City, who also have 13 points but sit in 13th due to goal difference.
Kitara FC cruised to a 4-0 victory over Maroons FC, with Jude Ssemugabi scoring his second consecutive brace. Under Wasswa Bbosa’s leadership, Kitara FC has now secured three wins, moving to 10th place with 14 points. Maroons remain in 6th place with 16 points.
