1 min readUganda cranes Head coach Paul Put has announced a 27 man squad that will face South Africa and Congo Brazzaville in AFCON qualifiers 2025.
This squad will mark the final push for Uganda cranes to secure a final place in AFCON that will take place next year in Morocco.
The cranes are currently leading the table in Group K with 10 points and upon the coming games alot is needed.
On 15th November 2024, The cranes will host South Africa at Namboole stadium and later travel to Congo Brazzaville for the last game.
The head coach Paul Put calls up all football lovers to come support the team and also emphasized the players to focus on securing the qualification.
He has also made different changes in this squad which include Hakim Kiwanuka from SC Villa, Geoffrey wasswa from Ethiopian coffee, John Paul Dembe from BK Hacken and goalkeeper Mutwalibi Mugolofa from KCCA fc.
