Uganda Cranes: Ticket Prices For 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Botswana and Algeria Confirmed.
Today, Monday, May 27, 2024, FUFA has confirmed ticket prices for next month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Botswana and Algeria. The double qualifying matches will take place under the lights at the newly refurbished Mandela National Stadium in Namboole.
Uganda Will host Botswana on Friday, 7th | June at 7pm and later host Algeria on Monday, 10th |June.
Uganda is in 4th place with 3 points from 2 games (1 win and 1 loss), level on points with 2nd-placed Botswana, 3rd-placed Guinea, and 5th-placed Mozambique. Somalia is at the bottom with no points, while Algeria tops Group G with 6 points.
In the first qualifying match, Uganda lost 2-1 to Guinea, managing only a consolation goal from Fahad Bayo in the 30th minute. On Match Day 2, Rogers Khassim Mato scored in the 4th minute with an assist from Allan Oyirwoth, securing a 1-0 victory for the Cranes against Somalia.
The cranes will then aim at collecting maximum points in the double matches at home to increase their chances of qualifying for the world cup groups stages for a historical first time .

Fufa has also confirmed that tickets will go on sale this Wednesday, 29th May 2024.
