Manchester City has officially signed one of England’s most exciting young talents, Divine Mukasa, to his first professional contract. Mukasa, who made the move to City from West Ham United a year ago, has quickly established himself as a standout in youth football, winning back-to-back FA Youth Cups—first with West Ham in 2023 and then with Manchester City in 2024.
Standing tall and strong, Mukasa is a left-footer who demonstrates remarkable technical ability. His poise on the ball and vision make him a joy to watch. Known for his clever decision-making and calm demeanor on the pitch, Mukasa’s versatility sets him apart. Though primarily left-footed, he is comfortable using both feet, often taking corners with his right foot, a skill that highlights his polished technique and coordination.
His physical attributes, including a blend of strength, height, and light-footedness, complement his technical prowess. Mukasa’s ability to read the game and execute plays with precision has earned him appearances for England’s U-15, U-17, and U-18 teams. However, he still has the option to represent the senior national teams of England, Uganda, or Lithuania in the future.
This off-season, Mukasa and his family spent 10 days in Uganda, his father’s homeland, further connecting with his heritage.
