Vipers Complete Signing of Isa Mubiru from UPDF FC

Isa Mubiru has completed his move to Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC from Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) Football Club for an undisclosed fee, the club announced.

Mubiru, 25, put pen to paper on a three-year deal at St. Mary’s Stadium.

Mubiru said: “Moving to Vipers SC is a big and important step in my life. I am delighted to be joining Vipers SC at this very exciting time for the club. I’m looking forward to being a part of this experienced, dynamic squad as we challenge for honours next season.” via Vipers SC Media.

The left-back has been one of the most sought-after in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, and Vipers SC have fought off competition from KCCA FC and Express FC to sign him.

Mubiru previously featured for MS Soccer Academy, Namasuba before joining Soana FC. He would later join Tooro United leading to his move to UPDF FC.
