Gaddafi Fc score late to deny Arua Hill SC

Jinja based side Gadadafi FC salvaged a late draw against Arua Hill SC at Barifa Stadium in one of the most physical games of the league so far.

The home side completely dominated the first 45 minutes, playing most of the ball in the final third of Gaddafi FC. Half way through, both sides increased the intensity of the game, committing more players upfront to each attack but to no gain. However, Arua Hill players endured continuous tackles from Gaddafi FC, especially in the first half.

Striker Brian Ade started up front for the Barifa side besides Alfred Leku and Rashid Kawawa in the front three.

The hosts took the lead in the 37th minute through Bright Vuni who capitalized on a Gadafi Wahab corner.

The Jinja side started to see more of the ball in the second half, attacking at every opportunity. However, Bright Vuni and captain Toha Rashid kept the away side attackers at bay.

Half way in the second half, the hosts looked likely to walk away with maximum points. Inside 90+3, Jamaldine Buchochera drew the visitors level after assist from Hassan Musana.

The reverse fixture between these two sides ended 1-0 in favor of Gaddafi FC. Striker Brian Kalumba scored the only goal of that game.
