Kenya and Uganda rugby legends set to clash in the Battle Of The Legends.

Old rugby heads clinging onto what’s left of their youth are dusting off their boots for one more duty.

Rugby fans set to fill up Kyadondo Rugby grounds this Saturday 27th May, 2023 for the long waited veterans unfinished business clash.

The veterans game will bring back together the rugby legends from Kenya And Uganda to celebrate and relive their old rugby days.

With legends from both nations already in their camps training, we shall witness old rivalries back to tussle it this weekend.

UGANDA LEGENDS SQAUD

Head Coach, Herbert Wafula is yet to announce the Uganda legends squad. The legends have been under the skies training including a warmup fixture against feeders’ team Bisons.

“This fixture is to bring back memories besides anything else and also to keep up. We have all gone separate ways, this gesture brings everybody together again.

We don’t know where people went. Across the boarder it’s a fundamental thing we get to know what’s going on in our lives, families, work and social life.” ~Black Pirates legend Emmanuel Biraro during an interview after one of the training session.

On Monday the Kenya legends head coach Osacr Osir named his 25 rugby greats who are set to battle it out with the Uganda rugby legends.

The squad that is captained my Eddie Omondi includes Andrew Amonde and Humphrey Kayange eho both former Kenya Rugby Sevens captains.

25 Man Kenya Rugby Legends Squad:

The veterans unfinished business clash is set to kick off at 4pm EAT.
