Lionel Messi and many other legends are returning to Barcelona. Barca will celebrate its 125th anniversary on November 29. The Spanish club has started big preparations to celebrate it. Messi and many other legends of the club will attend the event.
Miguel Rico of Football Club Barcelona (FCB World) wrote in a report that the club has started preparations to celebrate such a milestone. Attempts are being made to gather several other legends including Messi. Apart from Messi, many other important people will be invited to attend the event. In case someone is unable to attend due to personal or other reasons, their video message will be broadcast on the day of the event. Initially, Barca authorities wanted to hold this special event at the iconic Nou Camp. The special event was supposed to be held on the first match day after the reconstruction was completed. But a few months ago, the Barca management withdrew from that plan.
Because when the reconstruction of the stadium will be completed, it is not determined now. Still, Barcelona is moving forward with plans to celebrate with other aspects in place. The club aims to honor several notable figures from club history. Commemorating their contribution on the occasion. When you think of Barca icons, the name that immediately comes to mind is Messi. Barca authorities took his participation in the event seriously. The Spanish club wants to pay him extra respect, especially considering the dramatic circumstances surrounding his departure. Messi had planned to end his football career at Barcelona. For this, he reduced his salary at the risk of the club. But those plans fall apart.
