BREAKING: Vipers SC Suspend Head Coach Nikola Kavazovic
Vipers SC have suspended head coach Nikola Kavazovic following a reported disagreement with club president Lawrence Mulindwa. The clash stemmed from Kavazovic’s decision to schedule a double training session today and another session tomorrow morning, ahead of Vipers’ crucial match against defending champions SC Villa at 7:00 PM.
Sources indicate Mulindwa found Kavazovic’s approach disrespectful and ordered the Serbian coach’s suspension for at least a week. During this time, Kavazovic is barred from St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, and forbidden from interacting with the management, players, and support staff.

First assistant coach John Luyinda Ayala will step in to lead the team. Despite a mixed start to the season, with a loss to NEC FC, a 3-0 victory over Express FC, and a goalless draw with Lugazi FC, tensions have risen between Kavazovic and the Vipers hierarchy, who are eager for a title push. Kavazovic reportedly suggested that a top-three finish is the best they can aim for.
