Thursday – URA FC have released two players ahead of the second leg of the 2022/23 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season.
Midfielder Jackson Nunda and skipper Shafiq Kagimu are the two players released by URA FC.
The revenue side are yet to confirm through their official page that Jackson Nunda and Shafiq Kagimu have left by mutual consent.
Nunda joined URA FC in 2020 after spending five years at KCCA FC.
Meanwhile, Kagimu leaves the tax collectors after seven years of selfless of paying allegiance to the tax-men.
URA FC are placed 11th on the 15-team table after accumulating 14 points from same number of matches.
The Uganda Premier League took a break on 21 December 2022 and will resume tomorrow 10 February 2023 with two fixtures on the card. Busoga United playing at home against Maroons while KCCA FC travel away to Wakiso Giants.
