The Fufa Super 8 Tournament returns as Uganda Premier League new season dates are officially set .

FUFA Super 8 tournament is will be back this year.The 4th edition of the pre-season tournament is slated to run from August 5 to August 25, as a warm up to curtain-rise for the start of the new season.

BUL FC are the defending champions of the FUFA Super 8 , having defeated URA FC in the 3rd edition finals last year at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.

Bul Joined inaugural winners Kcca Fc and later Vipers SC as the only teams to win this tournament. It will have the top 8 teams from the previous UPL season compete.

Highly to note, the start dates for the much anticipated 2024/25 Uganda Premier League (UPL) season have officially been announced. The new season will commence on Friday, 13th September 2024.

We await the confirmation of the licensed teams , the licensing committee will announce the teams prior to the Fixture release on August 13th.

The FUFA Super Cup showdown will have Uganda Premier League champions SC Villa battling up with Uganda Cup holders Kitara between August 30 and August 31.
